Essential kit for surviving concerts and festivals

Not long ago we dropped a super list of the best concerts and festivals to hit this summer (if you missed it, check it out here , legends). But we don’t want to stop there, so we’re completing the pack with the ultimate survival kit for an epic experience.

There’s a first time for everything in life, and concerts and festivals are no exception. To save you the headache of “What the hell do I pack?”, here’s your checklist:

Portable charger > This is a MUST. Running out of battery at a concert or festival is a total nightmare (imagine going to the bathroom and not finding your crew… WTF do you do then?). Better safe than sorry. And if the festival lasts more than one day, you’re gonna need it—where else are you going to charge your phone?

2. Personal hygiene kit > Nobody likes that “festival funk” smell ��, so don’t be that person. Better to overdo the deodorant than underdo it. Essentials: toothbrush, sunscreen, soap, shampoo, etc.

3. Snacks & water > You never know how many hours you’ll be there, so water �� is priority (sun’s gonna hit hard ☀️). Bring some snacks too: fruit, chips, or nuts are safe bets ��. Remember—you can only be a beast on the dance floor if you’ve got the energy.

4. Sunglasses + cap or hat > Like we said, long hours in the sun, so protect yourself ��. And make it cool, because always diva, never basic ��

5. Clothes > Super important ��. You’ve gotta balance cute fits with comfort. This isn’t Paris Fashion Week—don’t regret your outfit all day long. And pack extra underwear, because who knows what the showers will be like ��.

6. Camping gear > If you’re lucky enough to camp, there are things you absolutely cannot forget:

Tent. Consider how many people are sleeping in it, otherwise it’ll be an oven ��. Two people? Bring a 4-person tent. More space = more air.
Mat, inflatable mattress, and/or pillow. If you want your back intact, bring one. You never know if your spot will be full of rocks, and even if you don’t sleep much, at least make those naps comfortable.
Trash bags. Don’t be that person who leaves a mess. We’re all sharing the space—leave it as you found it ��.

7. MEX Pack > ⚠️ The most important thing ⚠️ Going to a festival without your bottles of MEX should be illegal. Shots, pours, on ice… bro, always in ��

That’s why we’re bringing you different drinking games to kick off the party. Ready for a night of laughs, craziness, and of course, shots galore? Just remember: the key to any party is enjoying it responsibly. Now, let the games begin!

The MEX Roulette: let fate decide.

Never Have I Ever: the classic that never fails.

Who said secrets aren’t meant to be shared? This is the perfect game to bring out the juiciest stories from your friends.

How to play? Easy: sit in a circle around a table or even on the floor. Everyone fills their shot glass with MEX. One person starts with a “never have I ever” + some wild statement about something they’ve done (or not). For example: “Never have I ever… hooked up with someone in a club.” If anyone has, they drink a shot of MEX! No shame, dive right in.

The Shot Dice: all about chance.

Ready for a game that’s easy to set up, quick, and fun for any party? All you need is a die and a shot glass per person. Each number has a challenge tied to it. You can make your own rules, but here are some ideas to spice things up:

1. You choose who drinks
2. The player to your right drinks
3. Everyone drinks
4. You drink
5. Do a dare
6. Nobody drinks this time! Yes, relief!

MEX Dare

If your group is always down for anything, this is the ultimate icebreaker. It mixes the funniest dares with the thrill of deciding who does them… or drinks a shot instead. Let’s see who’s brave and who chickens out!

Write down different dares on slips of paper and take turns drawing them. Read it to yourself, then pick: do the dare, or take a shot of MEX. When the game ends, the one who’s still standing deserves a proper MEX pour to celebrate their resistance ��

The MEX Bottle: a twist on the classic bottle game.

You probably know this one as spin the bottle (with a kiss), but here we give it a twist: the prize is none other than a shot of MEX.

Place the MEX bottle in the centre and spin it. Whoever it points to has to do a dare the group chooses, or take a shot. If they do the dare, everyone drinks. If they don’t, they drink double. Tempting, right?

Call-a-MEX: the tipsy memory challenge.

Remember the chain-word game? Like “telephone”? Well, with MEX it’s way more fun. Each player says a word related to a theme (like “party” or “Mexico”), but you have to repeat all the previous words before adding yours. If someone forgets or messes up the order… they drink a shot of MEX! It’s a hilarious memory test as the night heats up.

Karaoke MEX: sing or drink.

If your crew is crazy about music and laughs, this one’s a must. Prep a playlist of trending songs, and each player takes turns singing a part. If they don’t dare (or sing terribly—let’s be real!), it’s a MEX shot! Make sure you’ve got a mic handy and let the fun roll… straight into party mode!

The MEX Selfie Challenge: capture the moment.

This one’s for the selfie lovers ��. Set up a MEX selfie challenge ��: every time someone nails a killer pose �� or comes up with a creative selfie idea, the others vote ��. If everyone approves, everyone drinks! If not, the person who took it drinks a shot of MEX. Guaranteed laughs ��. And who knows… if you post it on your story, maybe we’ll reward that MEX shot ourselves �� (surprise us!)

MEX Guessing Game: only for the brave.

One player thinks of a word or phrase related to the party or MEX (without saying it out loud ��). The others ask yes/no questions ✔️❌ in turns. The goal is to guess the word before time runs out ⏰. If someone gets it right, the thinker drinks a shot of MEX. Let’s play and drink!

The MEX Shot Race: run or drink!

Set up an obstacle course in your space (indoors or outdoors) and place MEX shots at different stations. Each player must go through the course, stopping to take a shot at every station. But be careful—if you fall or cheat, you drink a MEX pour ��. The first to finish without messing up wins a prize �� (or more MEX for everyone!). It’s adrenaline, laughter, and a true test of speed and skill.
