Essential kit for surviving concerts and festivals

Not long ago we dropped a super list of the best concerts and festivals to hit this summer (if you missed it, check it out here, legends). But we don’t want to stop there, so we’re completing the pack with the ultimate survival kit for an epic experience.

There’s a first time for everything in life, and concerts and festivals are no exception. To save you the headache of “What the hell do I pack?”, here’s your checklist:


  1. Portable charger > This is a MUST. Running out of battery at a concert or festival is a total nightmare (imagine going to the bathroom and not finding your crew… WTF do you do then?). Better safe than sorry. And if the festival lasts more than one day, you’re gonna need it—where else are you going to charge your phone?๏ปฟ

2.  Personal hygiene kit > Nobody likes that “festival funk” smell ๐Ÿคข, so don’t be that person. Better to overdo the deodorant than underdo it. Essentials: toothbrush, sunscreen, soap, shampoo, etc.

3.  Snacks & water > You never know how many hours you’ll be there, so water ๐Ÿšฐ is priority (sun’s gonna hit hard โ˜€๏ธ). Bring some snacks too: fruit, chips, or nuts are safe bets ๐Ÿ‘Œ. Remember—you can only be a beast on the dance floor if you’ve got the energy.

4.   Sunglasses + cap or hat > Like we said, long hours in the sun, so protect yourself ๐Ÿ˜Ž. And make it cool, because always diva, never basic ๐Ÿ‘ 

5.  Clothes > Super important ๐Ÿšจ. You’ve gotta balance cute fits with comfort. This isn’t Paris Fashion Week—don’t regret your outfit all day long. And pack extra underwear, because who knows what the showers will be like ๐Ÿคซ.

6.   Camping gear > If you’re lucky enough to camp, there are things you absolutely cannot forget:


  • Tent. Consider how many people are sleeping in it, otherwise it’ll be an oven ๐Ÿฅต. Two people? Bring a 4-person tent. More space = more air.
  • Mat, inflatable mattress, and/or pillow. If you want your back intact, bring one. You never know if your spot will be full of rocks, and even if you don’t sleep much, at least make those naps comfortable.
  • Trash bags. Don’t be that person who leaves a mess. We’re all sharing the space—leave it as you found it ๐Ÿ˜.
